The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps fund the Marine Corps' annual toy drive. The Cots 4 Tots story began in 2010 with a fundraising appeal to Bristol's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located at St Michael's Hospital. Its mission is to provide families with accommodation facilities as well as the latest equipment for the NICU.
Cots for Tots House provides an "home away from home" for families staying in the hospital. It is located next to the NICU, allowing parents to be close to their infants. The charity has helped more than 2,100 families stay at the house since 2012.
